I spent waaaay too much time driving this weekend.
Was the Daihatsu Materia inspired by the new style Cylons? Maybe not obvious from this photo, but wait until you are stuck behind one at traffic lights, fearing for your life, worrying that a murderous robot is planning your execution, and worrying that your car insurance probably doesn't cover destruction by rampaging cyborgs.

Luckily, Mistubishi cars will come to our rescue, looking a bit like Viper fighters with that trapezoid air intake at the front (lets not ask why a space fighter ever needed an air intake):
